Systematic Trial Of Pad Information uTility (STOPIT)

Women’s sources of information, knowledge and use of continence products: a sequential mixed methods study.

Dr. Adrian Wagg’s research team is looking for women over the age of 30 who use any sort of continence products for their bladder problems/weaknesses to complete this survey. It will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Here is the link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/stopitcontinence. Please forward it to any patients who would be willing to complete the survey.

Background Information:

Not a lot is known about how women gather knowledge about continence products, and what does exist suggests knowledge is gained from media advertisements or commercial vendors. STOPIT will gather data on how women seek and receive information on continence products and allow them to evaluate the usefulness of this information. Descriptive statistics will be used (means, standard deviations, and frequency distributions) to determine trends on how information is obtained, and to see if there is a relationship between certain products and degrees of incontinence.
