Born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1970. Undergraduate studies and specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Thessaloniki, Greece under the aegis of Professor J.Bontis. Further subspecialisation in Urogynaecology in London, UK, in the firm of Mr Ellis Downes, Consultant Urogynaecologist. During my training, adequate experience in outpatient and surgical management of Urogynaecology patient and Urodynamics has been obtained. Furthermore, I am well experienced in Obstetrics, abdominal and vaginal benign gynaecologic surgery, ultrasound, colposcopy, Gynae endocrinology and Gynae endoscopic techniques. Co-author in a number of scientific papers that have been published in highly accredited International Medical journals. Since 2003 holder of an MSc in Medical Information & Technology (Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2008 I successfully fullfilled my thesis in Reproductive Medicine under the guidance of Prof. Ioannis Papadimas, Endocrinologist. Since 2010 I have been workiing as a senior lecture in Obs & Gynae with special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction in the 1st Department of Obs & Gynae, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2014 appointed as full time clinical lecturer in Obstetrics & Gynecology with special interest in Urogynecology Since 2016 appointed as assistant professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology with special interest in Urogynecology.
