Please join us for the Nursing Workshop on Continence Care Nursing at the ICS Annual Meeting in Florence, Italy. This year’s workshop is offered at no additional cost. It will focus on the assessment and conservative treatment of incontinence (UI) in specific patient populations including individuals who have had a stroke, those who have post-prostatectomy UI, persons with overactive bladders and community-dwelling frail elders. We will also discuss the health literacy needs of informal caregivers or individuals with incontinence. We are excited to have international speakers presenting up-to-date research and guidelines for clinical practice related to the treatment of UI.
The workshop is then followed by a free lunch, an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues who share a common interest in providing the best possible care to our patients with urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. The timing of Nursing Workshop is prime as it is then followed on in the same room by the Nursing Forum. It provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about the assessment and management of UI in a variety of patient populations. We encourage local nurses to attend the workshop and forum as we are able to provide simultaneous translation of this session into Italian as well as information on slides in both English and Italian.
