Dr Cathy Murphy is a senior research fellow in the Bladder and Bowel Management research group, School of Health Sciences, University of Southampton, UK. Her work focuses on improving the quality of life of people living with long-term bladder and bowel management problems. She currently has a Fellowship with the Alzheimer’s Society with the goal of improving support for people living at home with both dementia and incontinence. She is leading CADET, a trial of a novel urinary catheter. She is also leading a WHO funded qualitative study examining continence product use in LMICs. She is a co-chair of the International Consultation on Incontinence Committee on Management Using Continence Products.
